So starting with the big picture and working down to the details.
Picture yourself standing in a verdant meadow, in the impossibly blue within blue sky, a brilliant diamond of white light, shines through a kaleidoscope of rainbows to beam summer sunshine across the land, as far as the eye can see.. in the great distance, it seems like the land begins to slowly, gently curve away upwards, rising up at a horison determined by sheer distance and atmospheric haze. The ground beneath your feet is soft and loamy, rich with plant, insect, fungus and animal life..everywhere you look, there is life and vitality. Standing still and just observing, for a short while one could perhaps mistake this for some fantastic planet, orbiting a very unusual star. Then after some time, one would note that this day never seems to end.. it is always noon and the sun is not moving at all.
But of course, in the fey realm, looks are deceiving.
Above you, through a deep layer of atmosphere, is not a star, it is a white hole, constantly pouring energy back into the finite space of an enclosed universe.. deep beneath your feet, through the soil and bedrock, there is a spacial boundary, a limit to the extent of the universe, and everything around you, further than the eye can see, is in a perfect balance of entropic and vital forces. If you were to head off in a straight line in any direction, eventually, years later, you would end up back where you started, because all of the land and the oceans of the fairy realm exist on the inner surface of a gargantuan sphere of matter.. the white hole throws out a rain of energy, and sometimes, matter, and it all filters down to become this thin shell which forms the world.

I like I think in today's age we tend to forget that the old myths of the Fae are filled with dirty dealings. They were sort of like forerunners of contract lawyers. They honor the agreement to the letter which ends up meaning that they will use what they can to twist the letter of "the law" in that agreement.

So, would the white hole be the other side of a black hole?
Embed all the lawyers in slow amber and cast a truth spell on all politicians!

Nope, it is a genuine closed universe, with an energy loop.. so, energy comes into creation from the center, where there is, well, a quantum effect.. the energy takes on the attributes of various things that exist in the realm, and imbues it with vital force.. so, a daisy plant is translated into a daisy sprite, a rock relates to a spriggan, etc. The energy filters through a series of high energy zones where it can be easily manipulated and channeled by high order beings.. fairy lords and ladies.. then down onto the outer shell or 'surface' of the fairy world. There are many interesting physical differences in fundamental laws of nature we would take for granted, which, when fairy beings travel to other dimensions, seem to be magical powers from our point of view. One is subjective and observational based passage of time.. when a fairy is not being observed, it can operate at it's own subjective time.. turn your back on a fairy and it can dismantle your ox cart in a split second.. but to the fairy, it took as long as usual, it just ignored everything else and as a result, moved much faster. Some areas of the fairy realm allow beings to alter size just from the direction they walk in. In many areas, there is a form of microbial life that shuns the light, but is buoyant, this life form infuses rocks and causes areas of land to float in the air. Due to the closed nature of the realm, if you dig down deep into the ground, you hit the edge of the universe and come out again, somewhere on the far side of the realm, so there are shafts, mines, stairs and such that lead all over the place, if you know where to look. As the white hole is fixed in position, some areas of the realm are always in shadow, some always in light, these are called Everbright and Everdark areas. Everdark areas collect and concentrate negative things, so this is where all the evil and horrid fairies and such can be found, and the opposite is true of the Everbright.
